March Givin' On A Prayer Night - Down Syndrome Association of Greater Cincinnati

Every month, Sonder chooses one beer and donates 10% of draft sales to a foundation or charity. For March, 10% of Bird Watcher Brown Ale sales will benefit the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Cincinnati. Givin’ On a Prayer Night is March 10th where 20% of Bird Watcher sales benefit the DSAGC.

The mission of the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Cincinnati (DSAGC) is to empower individuals, educate families, enhance communities and together celebrate the extraordinary lives of individuals with Down syndrome.

Our vision is a community that embraces, supports and inspires individuals with Down syndrome to live healthy, self-determined and fulfilling lives.

The DSAGC provides a variety of services for individuals with Down syndrome, their families and the community. Individuals with Down syndrome can participate in programs to practice important skills, explore new activities and build lasting friendships. These include, but are not limited to therapy, music, art, tutoring, and cooking.

Program Coordinators provide families with valuable information, resources and connections as they support their loved one with Down syndrome. This often involves support navigating medical care, school resources, social opportunities, housing, employment, transportation and more. Families can also attend various education workshops on topics related to caring for and supporting their loved one. Community groups (based on neighborhood, child’s age or special interest) foster connections and support among families.

The DSAGC also conducts outreach and advocacy with medical professionals, schools, employers and legislators.

Through everything, the DSAGC celebrates the achievement and contributions of people with Down syndrome.
