Have you been curious about Alcohol Inks? Alcohol ink is an acid-free, vividly-colored, alcohol-based dye that is liquid, translucent and fast drying. It is best used on non-porous surfaces (e.g. ceramics). Mixing colors can create a vibrant, marbled, and fluid effect. Alcohol inks come in bottles. During this class, participants will learn the basics of how to make the pigments move and flow using air and adding some metallics while creating their own unique set of 4 coasters. I provide all the materials and instruct you step-by-step to create your custom coasters. When you leave, the coasters will have a preliminary sealant on them and you will have enough sealant to complete the process at home. Pre-registration is required.
