Sonder Brewing Releases Raspberry Sequel Hard Seltzer in Cans

Mason, Ohio - Every good story has a sequel, and that is the inspiration for Sonder Brewing’s release of their newest brand, Sequel Hard Seltzer. Being the sequel to beer, Sonder has had a Raspberry version of Sequel available on draft in the taproom since early February 2020. The hard seltzer has been a staple for consumers looking for a beer alternative, a healthier option or have an appreciation for a craft hard seltzer. Due to the overwhelming response in the taproom, Sonder decided to lean into the product by packaging it in 4-pack 16oz cans at a $9.99 price point. Sequel will hit limited distribution and available in the taproom while supplies last.

The “Sequel” brand name originally came to fruition when having a conversation about people feeling welcomed in the taproom. The taproom was built to encourage a community center atmosphere where everyone feels at home, so it was important to have non beer options available for consumers. Wine and water have always been available at the bar, and BrewRiver has soft drinks, juice, and other non alcoholic beverages. These are fine alternatives, but they lack a connection to the Sonder Brewing brand. Sequel is brewed, fermented, and packaged just like beer, giving drinkers an added connection to the brewery when they have a pint of it. The first iteration of Sequel has been Raspberry and is the first version packaged, but expect more flavors in the future as the Sequel brand expands.

Sonder Brewing 1st Anniversary and Beer Release Party

Mason, Ohio - Sonder Brewing turns 1!

It's been a crazy year, and Sonder is prepared to celebrate accordingly! Starting at 10am, there will be a new beer released on tap every hour for 10 hours. There are seasonal favorites coming back, one off event exclusive kegs, brand extensions, and hand labeled & bottled beers from the Sonder Sour Oak Room. Thirteen total beers will be released that day on draft, and 8 will be available in package. All package sales are available starting at 10am.

Macy Addis and The Nerve played at Mason Deerfield Oktoberfest hosted by Sonder Brewing, and it’s exciting to bring them back for the 1st Anniversary! They’ll be rocking out during the evening.

Sonder Brewing to Release Quacky American Lager

MASON, Ohio – Sonder Brewing brewed Quacky, American Lager, in collaboration with the Freestore Foodbank’s Rubber Duck Regatta 25th Anniversary Feed A Child campaign. Quacky six-packs will be launching into Kroger stores this week to compliment Kroger’s sponsorship of the Rubber Duck campaign.

The Freestore Foodbank of Cincinnati along with corporate sponsors sell ducks during the month of August and each duck sold helps feed a child or family in the community.

“We are honored to have Sonder partner with such an amazing organization and such a great cause,” said Justin Neff, President of Sonder Brewing. “We brewed Quacky as a light-style, easy drinking lager that is a perfect fit for Summer days and watching the launch of 200,000 ducks into the Ohio River.”

Sonder will donate a portion of each Quacky six-pack sold to the Rubber Duck campaign.

Sonder will also feature the Freestore Foodbank as it’s Givin’ On A Prayer charity beer for the month of August. For every Quacky pint sold in the Sonder taproom in August, Sonder will donate 10% of the proceeds to the Freestore Foodbank. A launch party will be held on Tuesday, August 6 in the Sonder taproom in Mason, Ohio, where Sonder will have Regatta ducks available for purchase as well as donate 20% of Quacky sales for the day.
