Everyone had one in their family; now you can create your own with The Curious Kiln & Sonder Brewing! In this 2 hour workshop, we'll walk you through the creation of your very own vintage style ceramic tree! With quality materials and professional instruction, you'll be able to create a lighted piece that can be handed down for generations and add the perfect nostalgic touch to your decor! The Tree is 11" tall without the star, (13" tall with star). Each tree comes with a “light kit” that includes: corded light bulb with switch, colorful mini lights for the tree, and star tree topper. No firing required, and you will take your pieces home at the conclusion of class. No experience necessary - just a willingness to try! With great instruction, you'll head home with something you're sure to love! A seat will need to be purchased for EACH person in attendance - no "sharing" of projects or "helpers", as space & seating is limited. Class seats for this session are non-refundable, but tickets are always transferable to a guest of your choosing.

Class includes 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration, our beginner’s calligraphy kit (two nibs, black ink pot, 2 letter guides, tracing paper and straight pen holder), and all materials to write on. Animal Friends Humane Society (AFHS) was established in 1952 and is Butler County’s largest, oldest non-profit animal shelter. In 2009, AFHS relocated from its outdated facility in Trenton and now occupies a 22,500 sq. foot facility with top-notch amenities for its shelter population in Hamilton, Ohio. By adopting nationally recognized best practices for animal shelters, AFHS has been successful in maintaining high live release rates and is committed to providing individual care to local pets in need. Your support helps the more than 5,000 animals that enter our doors each year.

Girls on the Run inspires girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running. We envision a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams. We are an after-school program that blends physical activity with life skill development, including managing emotions, fostering friendships, and expressing empathy. We empower individuals of all abilities to discover, build, and grow their self-confidence. Girls can join a team through their school or local community center. Trained volunteer coaches facilitate our research-based curriculum twice per week for 10 weeks and at the end of the season, the team completes a Community Impact Project and a 5K together, which provides a tangible sense of accomplishment and sets a confident mindset into motion. Girls on the Run Greater Cincinnati is celebrating our 20th birthday in 2024! We would love to see you at our 5K Celebration on May 11th. Without a doubt you will walk away joyful and inspired. We know our finish line is just their beginning.
Cheering for Charlie is a 501(c)(3) organization formed in January 2023 in honor of Charlie Wirtz. Char- lie, who is now three years old, was diagnosed with cerebral palsy (CP) when he was six months old. His parents, Chuck & Chelsea Wirtz, are so grateful for the support and intervention that was provided to Charlie early in his CP diagnosis. Cheering for Charlie’s goal is to support parents/caregivers and the needs of individuals with cerebral palsy and other chronic physical disabilities by providing assistance through early and ongoing support and education.

The Ohio Stormwater Association (OSWA) is a group of public and private citizens dedicated to advancing the management of stormwater and related natural resources through education, leadership, watershed-based coordination, and technical assistance in Ohio. OSWA provides educational and networking opportunities for professionals focused on reducing the negative impacts of stormwater runoff. We host 4 educational webinars each year, in addition to co-hosting the Ohio Stormwater Conference. OSWA also runs an MS4 Bootcamp training focused on MS4 education and compliance.
